Ingredients:

  • 300g rolled oats
  • 100g wheat bran
  • 100g sunflower seeds
  • 100g chopped almonds
  • 100g chopped hazelnuts
  • 100g chopped walnuts
  • 100g sesame seeds
  • 100g chopped ready to eat apricots
  • 100g chopped dried bananas
  • 30 chopped, pitted dates
  • 18 chopped dried figs

 

Method:

  1. Mix the oats, bran, seeds, and nuts. Toast in an oven at 350F/180C/Gas 4 for 18 minutes, turning over every 6 minutes.
  2. When cool, mix the chopped fruit with the grain, ensuring that there are no large lumps. Store in a sealed plastic container in the fridge for up to three weeks
