Pimenton Marinade

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp extra virgin oil
  • 1 tbsp runny honey
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp pimenton
  • ½ small onion finely chopped
  • 1 sprig thyme
  • 1 sprig rosemary
  • 1 sprig marjoram
  • 1 sprig basil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, crushed
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Juice of 1 lime

 

Method:

  • Put all ingredients in a blender and liquidise.
  • Use for pork or chicken ? marinade in a cool place for at least 4-6 hours
  • The meat is then best barbecued.
  • Any remaining marinade can be reduced and poured over the meat.
