Parkside Farm Shop

Parkside Farm Shop in Hoyland Common, South Yorkshire is a purveyor of locally sourced meat, and home cooked products, including pork pies, black and white puddings, and home cured bacons and hams.

I can personally attest to the quality of the products - the black pudding and pork pies are excellent. Their aged beef fillet steak, is one of the best I have ever eaten; full of flavour and meltingly tender -  try this recipe for Pan Fried Fillet Steak with Garlic Butter.

Bought pork and leek sausages, Pork pie, Chorizo and cheek pie, belly pork and fresh eggs. All were of the highest standard. Worth the drive from leeds. Drive past? Dont!

found this lovely farm shop a few weeks ago,by chance coming back from wentworth, glad I did, beautiful gardens and the most gorgeously decorated shop, but I got a pleasant surprise when I saw the prices,Bryan the owner is so friendly, the meat is really tasty, the cooked meats, are deliscious, and the home baking to die for,not to mention the free range eggs,£2.50 a dozen,i have been again today(Saturday)it was busy, but the staff got to serving us quickly, just shows how popular it is,thankyou,i know i’ll be going back now regular

Best quality meat I have had in a LONG time – the tastes are reminiscent of proper meat from my childhood!!

Noticed the sign on thursday. Made special trip on friday from Thorpe Hesley and bought some provisions. Had some of the boiled ham and Pork pie for my tea. The tastes were what meat tasted like in my young days. The pork pie was as a pie shoul be. It tasted and looked like a pork pie instead of the meat being like compressed meat it was as it should be pieces of pork. I will be back for my weekly shop for meat.
