I went to Artisan with a party of 6 for a Saturday evening meal.
The reception area was nice and the welcoming staff polite.The pre dinner drinks with snacks provided was a nice touch and gave us time to chat and relax before dinner.
The table we were give was great large, round with really comfy seats. We could all see each other and talk.
Over all the food was good. The steak and chunky chips along with the Lamb got good reviews although a couple of us ordered suckling pig and lets just say it was not what either of us expected… more like a few slices of yer normal roast pork.
Great after dinner coffee.
Check your bill if you are eating from the a la carte and fixed menu within your party they got our bill wrong by £35!
I suspect it was an honest mistake, albeit a big one.
Overall we really enjoyed our evening and would go again, but personally I could not stand the poncey knives and forks.. a case of style over substance.
